Barratt David Wilson has submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment screening report for a proposed outline residential scheme of 195 homes on greenfield land in Walton, south of Warrington. The site lies within the Warrington Green Belt and partly overlaps land safeguarded for the proposed Warrington Western Link Road, with the applicant arguing that a full EIA should not be required.
Gwelyfenai has proposed a 3.6m sq ft data centre campus on the former Ferodo site near Caernarfon, but the scheme may be called in by the Welsh Government for its own determination.
