For ANY surveyor, student or qualified, the National Self Build & Renovation Centre is a 67,000sqft treasure trove of knowledge, interest and discovery that will bring theory to life. With over 200 permanent exhibits covering everything from air source heat pumps to drains, roofs, and much, much more, you will learn and see displays and products you've only ever read about in textbooks.
The Renovation House, typical of a property built in the inter-war years will show you the sequence of renovation of a dilapidated property in a unique way that brings it to life.
Previously we've only ever visited the NSBRC for conferences and learning days....but that never leaves enough time to properly explore the centre to reveal all of its treasures.
So we have booked an exclusive RPSA member day where you can take as long as you want (and you'll probably need a good 3-4 hours minimum) to wander the aisles and displays at your leisure.
Lunch and refreshments will be included and a nominal charge of £25 +VAT will be made to cover costs.
