Former RPSA Chairman takes on October plank challenge for Cancer Research UK

Former RPSA Chairman Alan Milstein is putting his core strength to the test throughout October to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

Alan is taking part in the charity’s Plank Every Day in October challenge, but has added a particularly demanding twist of his own. Starting with a two-minute plank, he is increasing the duration as the month progresses, with the ambitious aim of reaching 15 minutes by the end of October.

He is already well ahead of schedule. By 12 October, Alan had managed an impressive 12-minute plank, leaving very little doubt about his commitment, although perhaps raising some questions about his sanity!

Cancer affects almost every family in some way. Funds raised through the challenge will support Cancer Research UK’s work to prevent, diagnose and treat more than 200 different types of cancer.

Alan has given considerable time and energy to the RPSA and the wider surveying profession. We hope members and colleagues will join us in supporting him as he tackles this demanding challenge for such an important cause.
