The Negotiator Awards 2026 shortlist is out. | ||
I am delighted to tell you that The Negotiator has published the shortlist for its 2026 Awards, and residential surveying is very well represented. Twenty-eight businesses are through across the two surveying categories: 18 in Supplier of the Year: Independent Surveyor and 10 in Supplier of the Year: Surveying Firm. That is no small thing. The organisers report the highest number of returning entrants in the history of the Awards and say the competition for a place on the shortlist was tougher than ever. Getting this far in a field like that is an achievement in its own right, whatever happens on the night. A quick reminder of why this matters to us. The RPSA worked with The Negotiator to create these categories, and they are open across the residential surveying profession, not restricted to RPSA members. This is only their second year, and they put the work surveyors do in front of the wider property industry on its own national stage. That is exactly where it belongs. | ||

The winners will be revealed on Friday 27 November 2026 at a black tie gala dinner at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. I was there last year for the first outing of the surveying categories and can vouch for it being a cracking evening. You do not need to be shortlisted to come along. A few tables of surveyors making some noise for our profession would do no harm at all, so if you fancy dusting off the dinner jacket or the posh frock, now is the time to book. If you would like to make a full day of it, The Negotiator Conference & Expo takes place beforehand, with expert speakers, practical insight, CPD credits and plenty of networking before the Awards begin. | ||
