Barratt Redrow recovers £38m from suppliers for legacy defects
Barratt Redrow says it recovered £38.4m from subcontractors and suppliers in the year to 28 June 2026 as it continues to pursue legacy defect costs linked to fire safety and reinforced concrete frames. The company also reported £96.8m of legacy property charges, ongoing remediation activity overseen by the Building Safety Regulator, and noted an early-stage collective competition claim involving several housebuilders.
